Is vip.wordpress.com truly a site run by Automattic?

  I’m doing my due diligence, can someone from WordPress/Automattic confirm is this is a real site?

  I see that there is a WordPress enterprise site here:
  http://wordpress.com/enterprise/

  This obviously is a real WordPress site, but the other is a subdomain so I’m reaching out to find out more.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes it’s a real site. Check this out http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ so understand who it is for ie. VIP hosted clients.

  Have either of you dealt with VIP before, or are you making assumptions?

  Really, this is only a question that a WordPress or Automattic employee can answer.

  Thanks, you are right.

  I did look over the enterprise site, but hadn’t seen the links. Also, the enterprise site says $500/month, where the VIP says $5000/month, so I wanted to be sure it was indeed real.
