Is what I wanna do even possible?
-
I’m using my site as both a portfolio and a record of ‘bookwork’ for my art course.
What I want is to be able to save entries as either Professional Studies or Applied Media, so that I can see them when I go to the dropdown menu ‘Boring Personal Stuff’ and select one of the two categories. Then all the posts that have that particular tag are displayed. Kinda like on Tumblr.
Does that make sense? Is it possible?
I can draw basic pictures to explain what I mean if necessary. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Yes, that may be easily done with a custom menu. See the Custom Menus support page, and particularly the Organize your menu and add sub-menus / drop-down menus section.
While you can have links to static pages as your main category and subcategory menu items, as you presently do, you might want to consider using links to category pages. See the Category Pages support page.

Even if posts are assigned to categories, links to them will not be automatically added to a custom menu. Each new item in a custom menu must be added manually.
Links to posts may be added to a custom menu as described in the Add menu items section of the Custom Menus support page, and arranged under categories or subcategories as described in the Organize your menu and add sub-menus / drop-down menus section.
