The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.

Hi there,
There are many variables that determine your earnings beyond traffic, including which ad campaigns are active during a set period of time as well as the countries in which each was active.
Generally, WordAds pay by impression, not by click. That means the more visits you get, and the more each visitor uses your site, the more you will earn.
Please note that North American and European ad placements currently pay-out at a much greater level than international ads.
After your first month with WordAds, you will see your earnings in your WordPress dashboard which will give you an indication of your earnings potential.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for your answers !
If I understood correctly, you mean that I’m not obliged to subscribe to the premium offer? I visit your link to apply to wordads and I did it. I get a message telling “We appreciate your application to the WordAds program. However, becauseof the volume of applications, we are unable at this time to reply individually to all applicants. Our advertising partners have minimum traffic requirements, and when your site traffic meets these requirements, we’ll be in touch.”. Does it means my blog doesn’t have enough traffic to get wordads, or does it means my apply is waiting for a confirmation ?
Indeed, I imagine that we can not predict precisely how much I will win, but could you give me an average? It’s very different if you tell me “0,01$ per 1000 view” than “5$ per 1000 view” (supposing that they all come from europe or america) :)

This means that your application is processed and you’ll have a reply soon.

This is difficult to tell because we have many ad campaigns running at the same time. Since you have already applied, when you get enrolled in the program you can see for yourself your earnings and make a rough estimate on the cost per impression.

Okay thank :)
I receive a confirmation from WordAds ! Now I have WordAds on my blog, but I’m very surprised because I thought there was a need to subscribe to the Premium offer ! :O

From the support documentation:
WordPress.com bloggers, who are using a Free or Personal Plan, have moderate to high traffic and appropriate content also have the option to apply to the WordAds program.
