Is WordPress better than Vistaprint?

  I currently have a website using Vistaprint, but it is quite expensive to own, $240 a year to be exact. I also don’t like how the website looks cheap. Is wordpress better? PLease explain how wordpress works please

  All web hosting here is free of charge and there’s no way I would pay $240. per year for web hosting of any blog.
