Is WordPress good for ecommerce?

  For non-ecommerce business websites (https://topvinylcutters.com), I have used WordPress, but have not yet used it for ecommerce. I know the woo-commerce plug-in is there, does that help 500-1000 skus? Are there other WordPress e-commerce plugins that would be better? I have a 3D Carts client looking to make a change to boost SEO. I’m a huge fan of WordPress, but I also want to make sure that it is also a strong e-commerce site.

  WooCommerce is built to scale, and there are stores with tens of thousands of products built using that plugin. Additionally, on both our Business and eCommerce plans, full live chat and email support for WooCommerce is included.

  There are other ecommerce plugins for WordPress, but we’re not able to recommend any of them – we can only recommend what we make, and that’s WooCommerce.
