is wordpress the same as elementor ?

    is WordPress the same as elementor? i had purchased WordPress but i am not sure if it is something that i am supposed to pay for monthly or yearly. Can you please clarify the diffrence and advantages of using both Elementor and Worpress. are they the same? because when i logged onto wordpress i can not see any of my sites

    Hi there!

    Elementor is a plugin you would use on a site created with WordPress software.

    I hope I won’t confuse you more when I say there are WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    That said, if you don’t see your sites under your WordPress.com, they are probably not hosted here (or under a different account). To log into a site hosted elsewhere you’ll want to add /wp-admin at the end of your site’s address.
