Is www.paulnewnton.wordpress.com reserved for me?

A friend of mine – Paul Newnton – just tried to set up a new website with the URL http://www.paulnewnton.wordpress.com but it says the name is already reserved. I set up another site for him a while ago called http://www.happyendbooks.wordpress.com which is still live. I’m now wondering whether I also reserved the paulnewnton one but it doesn’t appear on my list of blogs. Can you please tell me whether it has been reserved for me and if so where I can find its dashboard? I want to share it with him! Newnton is an unusual name so we think it unlikely that someone else has reserved it – and there’s no website visible showing it at present. Thank you.

paulnewnton.wordpress.com is reserved to the user with the same username, paulnewnton. If you are the person who registered that username, you can log in, create a new blog via this link: https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/ and then either hand over the credentials for that username to your friend, if you are no longer planning to use it, or transfer the blog to them using this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
