After changing to Isola theme, category links disappeared from under posts, but they do appear on WP Admin.
Any idea why?

Hi there,
Here’s the documentation related to your theme: Isola.
Not all themes show categories in the same places. (About categories.) Isola can show categories via a custom menu item. The category would be in your menu, not under each post. It can also display the categories in a widget on the sidebar.
If you like the theme and want to keep it, you could also consider changing categories to tags.

As suggested by staff-eleanor, categories are not displayed among the post metadata with the Isola theme applied. Posts on the Isola demo have no categories displayed among the metadata, though tags are displayed. On a test site with the Isola theme applied, I found that assigned categories do not display among post metadata.

For some reason, I thought that, in Isola demo site, the term “Featured” under posts was a category, because it displays different from the others. It seems I was wrong. Anyway, I already have put categories in the hidden sidebar menu.
Thanks for your quick replies. -
You’re welcome. I think the “Featured” label in the metadata on the top post of the Isola demo may indicate that it’s a sticky post, which may also be why the date is absent from the metadata.

I got used to regarding the “Featured” label as a category in older themes, therefore, my confusion. Thanks for clarifying things.
