  Israel doesn’t appear on the list of countries.
  I need to modify the country, as I am based in Israel for VAT purposes

  Hi there!

  Bear in mind that only some of the countries are subject to a consumption-based tax. If your country is subject to a consumption-based tax, you will be able to enter your business tax ID details by ticking the box labeled “Add VAT/GST details“. Take a look at the screenshot here: https://wordpress.com/support/vat-gst-other-taxes/#during-checkout

  Israel is on the list: https://d.pr/v/CasnOZ but it is not subject to a consumption-based tax. If you add a product to your cart you won’t find the VAT tax there.
