Issue after migration from local to wordpress.com

    Hello,

    I attempted to upload my website from my computer by copying the themes, plugins, and uploads via an SSH connection and extracting them to the wp-content folder. I also exported the database locally and imported it into the WordPress database via phpMyAdmin. However, it appears that WordPress is not working correctly after the import. Could you please check and assist with this issue?

    It looks like this has happened when migrating the site from Local to Live using All in One WP Migrate – and we’ve fixed the issue for you.

    Are you able to confirm you’re seeing everything as you should when logging into the site?

    To reassure you, the issue we faced here was not unusual and can happen when there’s an issue with which users are being used on the site. Out of curiosity, are you looking to conduct migrations from local in the future?

    The reason why I ask is because you may not need to as we now have a staging facility available: https://en.support.wordpress.com/how-to-create-a-staging-site/
