Issue: code block does not change text color

    Hello!

    I like to use the code block to add snippets of code to my posts, but recently I cannot change the color of the text as before. On the editor it shows as changed, but in reality it doesn’t change.
    More interesting because I am able to change background color.

    This is a bit annoying, so I decided to open this thread.

    Many thanks for reaching out.

    I’ve taken a look at I can’t see that a background colour has been assigned. This can be assigned as per:

    [redacted]

    I’m also seeing this change when updated.

    Sorry, this doesn’t help at all.

    I never had problems with the background color, but instead with the text color.

    I wanted to push the post online, so instead I used the text highlighter feature to get the visual I wanted. The text color on the code block doesn’t change if I try to use the block editor to do so.

    Had the same issue with different posts, so I decided to open this issue.

    Also, could you please delete the pictures from my blog? I am not comfortable with having it posted on the forum. If necessary, just delete the whole thread.

    Hi there,

    I was able to replicate this on my end and it appears that it’s an issue with the theme you’re using. I’ve reported it to our developers and I’ll update you once it’s been fixed.

    In the meantime, you can use a different theme where this is not an issue.

    No issues, I can get around the issue using the text highlight option.
