Issue hosting my admin portal
-
Hi there!
I have recently started using WordPress for my site as a headless CMS. I have been fetching content for my site using the GQL plugin, and using the data from my WordPress templates to populate pages I have built using Javascript. Today I changed the nameservers from the ones that hosted my WordPress site, to the ones that host my Javascript site. I am on GoDaddy and was originally using their nameservers, now I have changed the nameservers to use Netlify nameservers. Once I changed the nameserver, my WordPress admin portal became no longer accessible, and as a result I am also not able to access any of the content that was on there. I do have all of my WordPress files backed up and saved in a folder on my desktop, but I am not sure the best way to get back my admin portal with all of the content and templates I was using. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Any help is appreciated!WP.com: Unknown

we can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. You must contact GoDaddy support to solve this problem.

Shouldn’t I be able to add a nameserver or CNAME record through WordPress to solve this problem? I am following this thread on connecting a wordpress site to an existing domain, but when I click Upgrades, Domains does not show up as an option.

Note the difference between the host WordPress.com (here) and the wordpress software which can be hosted anywhere.
