Issue : Image titles now appearing like the body of blog text on Windows

    Not sure how long this has been happening, only noticed this morning.

    For images where I have added a title/comment to the picture, they no longer appear associated with the photo (and centralised), but instead look as though they are just part of the main body of blog text. It’s a bit hard to explain, but you can see examples of this here :

    Kusum Sarovar – Hidden beauty in the footsteps of Krishna

    When I re-edit the post it appears as I would expect as part of the image block, making a small edit and saving makes no difference.

    This seems to have impacted all blogs where I have added text with the image when viewed from my Windows desktop (IE and Chrome). However, on my iphone and ipad it’s working ok.

    My theme is Chronicle.

    Has anyone else observed this ? – it makes my blog posts look less than great now.

    Hi Kevin,

    On the post that you link to above, viewed with the latest Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, I find the following side-by-side images, with overlaying text: https://snag.gy/Z9KExO.jpg. Under some of the other images there are what appear to be normal captions. In all cases the text appears centered.

    Can you perhaps add a screenshot or two here to show us what you’re seeing? See the Making a Screenshot support page and its Sharing your screenshot section if necessary.

    I’ll call for staff attention to see if they can shed some light. Staff will respond here.

    Hi there,

    I am also seeing what @musicdoc1 is seeing. For when you use the gallery blocks, I see the images side by side with a caption in white overlaying text. For when you use the image block, I see the image with a black caption under it and centered. So, it looks to be functioning as intended from the browser I am using (Chrome 75.0.3770.142, OS 10.13.3).

    Yes, a screenshot would be very helpful, so I can relay this issue internally. I currently do not have access to Internet Explorer and would like to have someone try to replicate what you are seeing. You can upload the screenshot to your media library if you want and I can access it there.
