Issue logging in – fatal error
-
I am having issues logging in to my wordpress account. It seems to be linked to a plugin I have ‘Revolution Slider’. I have tried to disable the plugin by FTP and changing the folder name of the plugin folder. This works and let’s me access wordpress. But now, I can’t reactivate the plugin. When I try to click activate, the page refreshes and nothing happens (i switched the folder name back to what it was before already). I’m wondering if there is now a bad file in the plugin that I need to resolve.
This is the error when I try to login:

Hello,
You are using the WordPress software rather than WordPress.com, please post your further questions in the WordPress.org forums, since this forum is only for the WordPress.com users.
You can read more about the .com and .org differences here:
Before you do that, delete the entire ‘revslider’ folder using the FTP and upload fresh one which might resolve the issue and allow you to activate it again.
I hope this helps.
