Issue on Add new theme in Appearance section

    Hello Sir,

    I have created a free website with a name of (name.wordpress.com), But I cannot install Astra or drag and drop any other free themes into my Appearance as it shows as ‘Unlock premium themes with our Premium and Business plane!’ And the button is named as Install new theme.
    I searched in youtube etc but there’s no any case regarding this. Sir what’s the issue? I want to figure out this because I want to update my cv soon on WordPress.

    Hi Nimni,

    To be able to install plugins or third-party themes (like Astra), you will need to upgrade your plan to Business:

    It sounds as though, you only want your site to act as your CV? If that’s the case, you probably do not need to install plugins, or other themes, you could instead create a simple site (maybe even a one-page only) using one of our themes, for example:

    https://wordpress.com/theme/tu/

    You could use that one with your free site, or upgrade to Premium and register a custom domain, to get a more professional look.
