Issue related to opening of pdf file on same url

  Hi,
  i have created a page and on that there is a table of contents. Those contents are linked different pdf files which are uploaded in the media library section respectively.
  I am facing an issue, when a user is clicking the link then file gets open on different URL e.g. https://mediascholarin.files.wordpress.com/
  I want that the file must open on the same page where the table of contents are.

  Correct account: Yes
