Issue when writing posts with javascript code in

  Hello,

  I am a developer and I am having problems writing posts with javascript in. I think I am using the correct method by surrounding my code with [code language='javascript'] tags.
  I publish my post and everything looks ok until I edit the post at which point any special characters are replaced by their HTML equivalents &'<> etc. Then when I update the post they are showing as the HTML characters and not the original characters.
