Issue with background & logo colors

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,

I’ve been trying to modify the Twenty Twenty-Two (Mint) theme to my taste, and added the logo and a custom background color.

The logo somehow changes to a black/white version, is there a way to keep the original colors?

The custom background shows in the editor, but as soon as I go in viewing mode it disappears.

Is there any way to fix these issues?

    Many thanks!

  • Hi there,

The Twenty Twenty Two Mint theme is designed to show images in black and whtie, so the filter that is making that change is hard-coded into the theme itself. You can see on the demo site here for example that all images are monochrome by design: https://twentytwentytwomintdemo.wordpress.com/

Instead you may wish to switch to one of the variations here that shows color images in the demo, and will show color images on your site as well: https://wordpress.com/themes/?s=twenty+twenty+two

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
