Issue with blog name

  I have created a blog and deleted it the next day. But, now when I try to use the same name, it says the name has already been taken. When I open the blog with that name it says the blog has been deleted by authors which means it is not taken by anybody after I deleted it. I need help to so that I can use that name again

  If you permanently deleted that blog, it cannot be used again, ever. This is as per WordPress.com policy:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  What you can now do is create a new blog with a similar name/URL.

  Thanks for your reply, ehtis. I have tried to create a new blog with the same name and it disallowed me. Are you saying that I can’t use the same name ever again?

  I’m afraid you indeed can’t.

  While deleting a blog, WordPress.com informs you several times that once deleted, a blog’s name/URL cannot be used again.
