Issue with database update stopping automatically

    I am brand new to WordPress and am trying to update our group’s website. I have two questions: 1) I’ve added myself to AMO teams but I can’t figure out how to actually publish it (even though it says published) so it shows up on the website, and 2) we have a note that there was an issue with the database update and to contact support. Please send help!

    Hi there,

    I am sorry to hear you are experiencing troubles with your site.

    I noticed that your website is not hosted on WordPress.com and it is built with the self-hosted version of WordPress, often called WordPress.org. This forum is maintained and equipped to support WordPress.com sites.

    To clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different companies so we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere.

    Also, you might want to contact your hosting provider with database update issues.
