Issue with Domain Configuration for stopcalvitie.fr

    Hello,

    I recently registered the domain stopcalvitie.fr through my Premium plan, as it was offered for free for one year. However, I’m being asked to manually update the name servers to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, and ns3.wordpress.com.

    Since WordPress is the domain provider, I expected this configuration to be handled automatically. Additionally, my plan is to use this domain to redirect traffic to my primary domain stop-calvitie.fr.

    Could someone please confirm if this is normal, or if there is an issue with the domain setup on WordPress’s end?

    Hi there,

    Any domains registered through WordPress.com would automatically have the name servers set to use WordPress.com name servers.

    It sounds like your domain isn’t registered through WordPress.com but, rather, it is a connected domain (meaning it is registered elsewhere).

    I can see from the publically available information for this domain that it is registered through “XNS Registrar B.V.” You can see this same information here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/stopcalvitie.fr
