Issue with drop-down menus

    Categories set up as drop-down menus work on my PC (I use Microsoft/Google Chrome), iphone, ipad and tablet (Surface Pro). Friends test the drop-downs (both on a mac and PC) and they work. They don’t work on lecturer’s PC (who uses a Mac) and I have lost marks for a blog assessment task. I have seen for myself that he can’t see the drop-downs on his computer. I am using Gateway Theme. Any ideas?

    Hi Anne-Marie, I’m sorry to hear about that. Your drop-down category menus work fine for me on a Mac 10.11.5 with Firefox 47.0.1 – do you know what OS version and browser your lecturer was using to view your site?

    Also do you know if the Gateway demo site works as expected or do the sub-menus not appear on that one too?

    In the meantime you have one unused widget area in your footer. You could add a categories widget there so they are still accessible even if visitors are having issues with your menus.

    Hi Hallluke, according to the demo site, Gateway sub-menus are working. I will ask my lecturer about OS version and browser. Thank you also for suggestion re widgets, will give it a go!
