Issue with link and button colours

    Hello,

    I’ve recently needed to change my theme (Agama) and am struggling to adjust the link/button colour on my blog, http://ridethehighlands.ca/TheRoadCut/.

    I want to change the home button colour and font as well as the the “read more” button colours for each blog. The option is not available in style section of the customizer and it looks like I’ll need a ccs code.

    Is anyone able to help?

    Hi,

    It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Therefore, for the best chance of help, it’s best to contact your theme developer: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/agama

    However, I still did try and have an attempt at this for you. You never specified the colour you wanted, so I’m going to use red as an example. You can replace the HEX codes I’ve used here with any of your own, and here’s a site to get HEX code colours. https://imagecolorpicker.com/

    This should hopefully change the “Read more” colour for you.

    Using red as an example again here, and since you didn’t specify the font name, I’m using Verdana and Arial as an example. This is for the home button.

    .menu-item-417 a {
    color: #d80f0f !important;
    font-family: verdana, arial !important;
    }

    Those should hopefully work, but you’d need to change the colour and font. I just used them as examples as you didn’t give any details. But since this forum is for WordPress.com blogs, please use the link I provided for expert help with your theme.

    I appreciate your help and realize now I’m posting in the wrong location.

    The new code to change the colour of the read more has been adjusted. Thanks!

    In the meantime, I found another code to adjust the sticky header colour.

    I’m still struggling with changing the green bar at the very top of the page. I believe it is called the sticker header inner. Do you have any suggestions for this?

    Hi, glad that worked! In regards to the green bar, I took a look, and I’m not seeing a green bar on the top of your site. Did you get this sorted?
