Issue with Mailchimp sign up forms
-
I’ve set up a list for Mailchimp so I can start to properly build a community, however this is my first time using WordPress as well as Mailchimp and I’m running into an issue. The subscriber pop up seems to be working well, but I want an additional form on my website. I added a text widget down the side of my site, assuming it would only need the code for the HTML embedded form entered as text. However it doesn’t appear as the sign up form when you go to the site? It only appears as the text code that I copy and paste from MailChimp. Is there something extra I’m supposed to do that I’m missing?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Embedded Forms are not yet supported at WordPress.com, only the Subscriber Popup form. Learn more about MailChimp’s Subscriber Popup here.”
this is all I found out. I wish we could embed a form, but I guess we can’t.

You cannot embed – period.
We have code restrictions at wordpress.COM. No javascript or iframe embeds from unsupported sources or third party advertising codes can be used on any wordpress.COM hosted sites.

@ashleycarteryoga please open your own forum thread with a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing at this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 link rather than posting into other people’s threads. That way it will get the attention it deserves. Thanks.
