Issue with media library

  Since a week, our website has a problem with the media library.

  While all the media is still there, we cannot search for images when adding a image in a post.

  When we click on ‘choose featured image’ all the recent images showing up. But when we search for an image, nothing is found. When we click on a random image, all the attachment details like the name are gone. That seems the cause that we can not search.

  We already have
  – updated wordpress
  – deactivated all the plugins to check if thats the cause (only buddypress not deactivated)

  Is there anyone who knows this problem and have a solution?

  Some extra details:

  When we clikck on ‘media’ in the WordPress dashboard, all the images shows up with a name. It is only when you will add an image in a post. Then we can’t search, and it seems the cause is that the name of the images is gone there.
