Issue with notifications bar

  Hello. The wordpress bar that usually notifies you when someone likes a post, comments, etc. with an orange icon isn’t displaying new comments, likes, follows, etc. even though I get email notifications for them. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies to no avail. My version of Chrome is 35.0.1916.114

  I forgot to add that I downloaded Firefox and logged in and this still happens, so its clearly not a problem with the browser.
