issue with permalink

  Hi, a week or so ago I did a restore backup from godaddy, during this process some strange url was created and took over our wp and permalinks. After contacting godaddy they fixed some issue with the DNS or something and our website shows correctly online. However, it is still going to the this strange url in wordpress and will not allow me to fix the permalinks. Godaddy spent two hours chatting and has determined the problem is on the WP end.

  Looking at your account, you have no sites listed. Do you perhaps have another WordPress.com account, and could you please share your site URL?

  Please keep in mind, these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com managed hosting. If your site is hosted elsewhere, like GoDaddy, help is available in the WordPress.org forums.

  Ok, that is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, hosted with GoDaddy, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
