Issue with photos and blogs that I follow Widget bar.

  I have tried browser upload and my photos disappear after 1 or 2 days, I then tried the multi file uploader still they disappear. Even my own photos that I have scanned and downloaded disappear? For other website photos to put in my posts I am now trying the URL way..and hoping this works. Very frustrating. I have asked others and they don’t have any issues. I use a MAC is this making a difference?
  Also even though I have stopped following some sites, my blogs that I follow widget still has them on there, is there a reason. Any assistance on these issues would be very helpful. Thank you.
