Issue with plugin page and loading pictures

    Dear WordPress.com help,

    My issue is twofold. First off, I have not been able to load pictures (.jpg, definitely the right size) to my blog, which is hosted on wordpress.com but has the domain name “culturaltrash.com.” Each time I try I get the error message “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” I searched various help forums and the most popular solution to this seemed to be to disable plugins, but I cannot seem to access plugins through my blog dashboard. I know that’s a distinction between wordpress.org and .com, but I am sure that I am hosted on wordpress.com unless buying my own domain name through wordpress affected that? Anyway, any help would be appreciated, and admittedly I am a bit of a Luddite so I apologize if there is something I’ve missed.
