Issue with posting

    Hello,

    I am a Media Studies teacher, and each of my students are using WordPress to create a blog to document their portfolio process. Two of my students are not able to create a blog post. Instead of the block editing page opening, they are being directed to a page with multiple links. We have been unable to troubleshoot why only these two students are having the issue. They are using school issued Chromebooks, and are using Chrome as a browser.

    Please provide trouble shooting tips that could help them access the block editor blog post creator.

    Hi there,

    Can you provide a screenshot of the page they are being directed to? Feel free to upload the screenshot to your media player and I’ll be able to see it there. What are the multiple links that you see?

    Hi! Thank you for your quick response. I am not able to figure out how to get the screenshot to appear here in this thread.

    Across the top of their page it reads: Skip to main content Skip to toolbar

    Then there are multiple bulleted lists with links and sub-headed links:
    Dashboard
    Plans
    Posts
    Media

    etc

    If I scroll down the page, there is a link that says switch to block editor, but nothing happens when I click on it.

    You wouldn’t see this change unless you refresh or visit a page or post.

    Do you have an example link of what pupils are opening, this will help to point everything in the right direction.

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    I am using google chrome (only browser available to me). I have tried clearing cache and cookies, updating browser, etc, nothing is working. Every time I try to do anything on the website is brings me to a weird page, ^picture uploaded in thread above.

    Can you tell me if there are any browser extensions installed please?

    For example Adblocker?

    The reason why I ask is because these types of extensions can tamper with how a site can appear.
