Issue with Redirection Setup in WordPress
-
I’m encountering an issue with a redirection setup on my WordPress website.
Problem Description:
I have set up a redirection rule to redirect traffic from https://www.WEBSITE/resources to https://WEBSITE/resources. Despite following all recommended steps and verifying the setup, the redirection is not working as expected.
Steps Taken:
I installed and configured the Redirection plugin with the following details: Source URL: /resources, Target URL: https://WEBSITE/resources, Match: URL (exact match), Action: Redirect to URL with HTTP code 301 – Moved Permanently.
I verified ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ and ‘Site Address (URL)’ are set to https://WEBSITE in WordPress General Settings.
I confirmed DNS settings with my domain registrar to point correctly to website without www.
Testing and Results:
I tested across multiple browsers and devices, including clearing browser caches.
I used online redirection testing tools, which indicate that https://www.WEBSITE fails to redirect properly, showing errors like ‘Unable to perform request’ or ‘This site can’t be reached’.
Please advise if there are additional configurations needed or server-side issues that could be affecting the redirection.
Thank you

Hello! It seems like your website is hosted by another party as shown in this URL: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/antoniamilkop.com.
To set up your redirection correctly, you should get in touch with the WordPress site hosting provider. Additionally, I recommend reaching out to the support team or author of the redirection plugin for further assistance.
