Issue with 'Related Posts'

  Hey there! After I switched off the ‘show category/tag’ option for related posts in settings, they still get displayed in the site ecozhdc.wordpress.com. How much long will it take the change to register?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  I’m not sure what are you referring to. Are you trying to hide categories and tags or related posts?
  There are no categories or tags displayed for Related Posts on your site.
  If you meant categories and tags on posts, you will want to uncheck the boxes in My Site>Design>Customize>Content Options:

  I am talking not about the blogposts themselves, but the ‘Related posts’ segment that comes up after we read a whole blog post. In there, despite trying to shut off categories and tags for related posts, I still see them; unlike as you report. Is there a malfunction?

  Hi there,

  So, you are not wanting to disable the related post itself, but the “in example category” right below the related post title and image, correct? If so, any changes outside of hiding/showing thumbnails and displaying the related posts title will require CSS:

  Where exactly are you seeing the option to turn off categories/tags specifically for Related Posts?

  To disable the related posts feature on your blog, from your WordPress.com dashboard, go to Tools > Marketing then click on the Traffic tab.

  You should see the option to disable Show related content after posts:
