Issue with theme Sketch, widgets on side bar

    Hi there!
    I’m new to blogging, and I am using the theme Sketch since I find the portfolio page template really useful. I have a static front page, and I was trying to add widgets on the side panel; this is not working at all.
    The funny thing is: in live demo-mode it works, I can add any side widgets I want; but as soon as I save the theme, it’s no longer possible.
    Any idea why is this happening?
