Issue with transferring site

  We are moving rivkamalka.com to another server, but still want to keep access to the old website as well. The nameservers have been changed already. Is there a way to access the WordPress site through a subdomain name or something similar? like rivkamalka.wordpress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, the subdomain rivkamalka.wordpress.com should be reserved for you. Register the address at the sign up page. Let us know whether that is successful. I’m not sure what advice to give you toward the goal of both moving rivkamalka.com to another server and keeping the WordPress.com website though with a different address. I’m sure it’s possible, but I’m uncertain of the easiest way to accomplish it.

  I thought it should be, but cannot access the site from that URL. It says the name is taken. I wonder how to remove the domain name from the wordpress blog? Maybe that would rest it to the .wordpress.com name?

  Disconnected jetpack thinking that might be the issue. Now I cannot even see the admin side of the blog.

  The site address rivkamalka.wordpress.com is reserved for the WordPress.com user rivkamalka.

  Also, the domain rivkamalka.com is not registered with WordPress.com and is not associated with any WordPress.com sites.

  You should be able to administer your site here:

  rivkamalka.com/wp-admin
