Issue with updating my domain email address

    Hello,

    When I want to update my email address in domain management, when clicking save and then click on request confirmation. I receive a pop up message on top right of screen that is mentioning “Unable to update WHOIS details”

    Kindly help me solve this issue.

    Sorry to hear that. Could you try updating the email address on your domain using a different browser to rule out the possibility that it’s a browser-related issue?

    You can also try clearing your browser cache before trying again. Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

    If that doesn’t help, please share the following so we can troubleshoot:

    1. Which domain are you trying to update the email address on?
    2. What’s the new email address you’d like to add to your domain?

    Hi there!

    Looking into your domain rezamoradi.com further, I see that you may be entering random numbers on the Postal Code field when updating the email address on your domain. Can you try leaving the Postal Code field blank and see if that lets you update the email address on the domain contact?

    Hello @aisajib,

    I have tried in different browser but same issue, I choose United Arab Emirates as country and I don’t have any fields with Postal Code when selecting this country.

    Not sure what is the issue.

    Hello @fstat,

    This is my new email (email visible only to moderators and staff), as you can see I have two domains, for new one its already this email, but for my old domain its different email. I have access to old email too if nessesary.

  • It has been changed on our end. I can also see the updated information. You may need to clear your browser cache and/or try a different browser to see the change.
