Issue with view counter (stats)

My stats have being recording the same numbers for several weeks now. I’ve been stuck at 14 (apparent) views on my blog for a while now but have still been steadily accumulating likes and followers. I now have 18 followers – four more than actual views!
I signed into a different account to see if I could find the problem. I accessed three different pages on the blog with the stat counter problem (basilisk555). I signed back into basilik555 and saw that the views showed up in the last 48 hours bar and in the stats page but the counter remained at 14 when it should say 16.
I’m not entirely sure how to fix this and I’m not sure how many views I should have but this proved to me that there is definitely something not working for my blog.

It is a bit odd that it’s stuck at 14, however, likes and followers can be accumulated by readers via The Reader. This means that someone can like or follow your blog without ever clicking to go into your blog (or on the post which apparently registers a view now in the reader…).
I just went on your blog and clicked around, so you should have more than 14 today perhaps.

I was wondering the same, but I suppose danielisreading gave the answer about the Reader. I know I got 10 likes on a post I posted on the 5th but have 0 visitors logged on the Sats page.
