Issue with website redirection or old wordpress subscription

  Hello,

  I changed my hosting service from WordPress to another because the personnalisation possibilities were very low, but before doing so i linked my domain name to my WordPress account, so that for a few days I was hosting my domain name with you. Then I unsuscribed from WordPress, and deleted my website which was linked to this account.

  Then I set up everything with my registar and hosting service, dns, ssl, name servers etc. but when I visit my website url (the narrative-thread.com, not the narrative-thread.wordpress.com which doesn’t exist anymore) I end up on a wordpress page that says that the address narrative-thread.WORDPRESS.com doesn’t exist. I was wondering if there was maybe some redirection or anything that should be edited manually so that I don’t end up on WordPress for an unknown reason,

  Hi there, I just had a look and it seems that the changes did update, it goes to a site that shows under construction with a heading OVH.COM.

  Updating nameservers can take up to 24 hours.

  You might need to hard refresh your browser, and maybe clear your cache.

  Other than that seems like you are all set.

  Answering since the modlook tag was still on this thread.

  narrative-thread.com does not load a WordPress.com hosted site any longer. You can also confirm the most active name servers on your domain through a ‘whois’ search.

  Your name servers are set to OVH and not WordPress.com – so all is well :)
