Issue with WordPress making me use html code only for spaces and new paragraphs.

  Can anyone help me with an issue I have when working in the posts section, I have to use the html code for new paragraphs. I normally do not need to do this. Thanks in advance.

  And the WordPress version is 5.2.3–en_AU
