    It looks like your question has to do with a self-hosted WordPress.org product on Host Gator. These forums offer support for the WordPress.com suite of products.     Are you speaking of the desktop app? What version of the app are you using? Are you still able to edit your site if you go to the My Sites interface in your browser? Have you checked if completely re-installing the app, or logging out of your account in the app and back in makes any difference?

    The WordPress desktop app is a WordPress.com product, and that support link you provided will just bring someone back here. Hostgator will not be able to help someone with an issue in the WordPress app, nor will the self-hosted forums. If it’s not an issue with the app itself the appropriate place to refer someone would be Jetpack support, as it’s Jetpack which allows people to manage self-hosted sites via the WordPress.com interface and the WordPress desktop app.

    @tashai1 if you need help with the mobile app, the link that @jessestu provided also points to the mobile app forums. They use the ORG log in system so if you don’t have a username account with ORG, you can register one on the forums page.

    If you need help with the desktop app, please let us know in this thread what version of the app you are using, what OS and version you are using and whether you have jetpack installed on your self-hosted site. Thanks.

    (You might also try uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app and see if that doesn’t clear up the issue.)

    Thank you, @kokkieh and @justjennifer. I got ahead of my own knowledge and made too many assumptions with the OP. I’ll take that WordPress.com supports the apps and Jetpack connects the .com and .org worlds into consideration next time.
