Issues adding posts to static homepage

    Hi
    I am an absolute newbie with no coding experience but I have managed to set up my site and was going ok making a static homepage.
    Yet I can not seem to add posts to it.
    Tried two different plug-ins post grid and another.
    It worked initially but then came up with message oops can not find that page when I try to customise it.
    Then when I went back to non static homepage my post was missing the text on front end but it was fine on the backend. It’s like there are two different edits of the same page on front and back.

    I almost feel like I want to start the homepage all over again.
    Using zoom lite theme and wp composer.
    Still have coming soon on as want to get it right before launch.

    It looks like you are in the wrong forum. Your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software, you need to seek assistance from WordPress.org forums which can be found at:
