issues after 4.9.1 upgrade – 'lets launch' splash screen on dashboard

  my site is doing a few things and the only thing i can find different is that it may have updated to 4.9.1. I get the splash screen over the dashboard saying ‘lets launch xxx’ and i can not get it to go away so i can see the dashboard. The other thing it is doing is when i try to upload images to the portfolio item or create a new portfolio item i can not upload the images… i am not sure what else is going on does anyone have any suggestions?

  i had to install the jackpack plugin and i got the splash screen to go away
