Issues changing Interface language

I’m trying to change my interface language but it’s not working. I go to my profile settings, change interface language from Swedish to English, click on it to save settings and it says it worked but then it’s back on swedish anyways. Since I’ve moved abroad I need my blog to be in english! I’ve cleared my cache/cookies – everything and it’s still not working – I also tried changing it from a different browser – no sucess. Please help me!

The interface language is what you see on the back end of your site.
If you want to change the language of the public facing side of your site, go here and change the language. Remember to hit that “Save Settings” button https://wordpress.com/settings/general/swedeublog.wordpress.com

Hi there,
As justjennifer mentioned, you can go to your site’s General Settings to change your site’s language. That controls the language that is used on the front of your site, which is what visitors see when they look at your site.
The interface language is separate, and it controls the language you see in your dashboard. (It’s the language that the WordPress.com interface is displayed in when you’re logged in.) Some other people have reported having trouble changing their interface language, and our team is investigating that issue.

I’ve already changed the site’s language – but I think I have to change my interface language to recieve spellcheck for english?
At least that’s the function I’m first hand changing for – to be able to spellcheck my blog-posts in browser before posting them. That swedish is cringeworthy as interface-language is just another thing I’ld get away from!Where can I keep myself updated so I know when the issue with changing interface languages is resolved?
