issues & clarifications regarding blogger import with authorize option.

what i have doen in past :
i was unable to convert my 30 mb blogger .xml file into .wxr. unknowingly i have tried unsuccesfully to upload the xml file. one day i broke xml file file into 2 or 4 parts. i have again started uploading. luckily wp imported all the posts but with a hitch. the hitch is images are not appearing in the posts & spaces are below the posts.
present status :
Luckily i was able to upload the xml file into blogger. i am trying to use the import feature in wp through web aka authorize option [ tools – import – blogger ]. i am not sure whether wp has downloaded the full data i.e. all posts correctly. i am accessing the blog through a public computer. if i utilised te import option the total number of posts are not increasing. i hope they are overwriting the existing posts. the issue is i have never seen a confirmation message about the import complete. it merely states that to set the author.
is my import complete if the option to set author is shown ?
can you check on your end whether import is complete in all aspects.i appreciate your valuable time to resolve my issue & clear my doubts.

It looks like your Blogger import has finished. However, keep in mind that posts that have already been imported will be skipped by the importer to prevent duplicates.
From what I can see, it looks like you have 2,251 published posts on your WordPress.com account. Does this match the amount of posts you’ve published on Blogger?
