  Hi! I am trying to embed from scribd but I keep getting a #blocked notification

  You have tried the steps we recommend here? https://wordpress.com/support/scribd/

  Scribd offers more than one way to embed, and not all options will work on WordPress.com but if you follow the steps there you will get a specially formatted shortcode you can use to successfully embed on your WordPress.com site
