Issues importing content

    I’m trying to import wordpress content from a large 16.5mb XML file but it fails when I try to upload. Can you assist?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Has 24 hours passed?

    Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?

    If yes, what is the URL?

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

    Also note that removing spam and unmoderated comments can be helpful.

    Where are you trying to import the content from and to? When you try to import the .xml file and it fails, are you seeing any error messages?
