Issues importing from travelpod archive

    Hello

    I am currently trying to import my archive blogs from travelpod. I keep getting an error message saying ‘Missing required body data’.

    Can you please help?

    Hi there,

    Are you trying to import the .zip file you got from Travelpod as is? If so, that’s why it’s not working.

    You first need to extract the .zip file. That will give you several smaller .xml files. You need to import these files, one at a time. First wait for one file to finish importing (we’ll send you a notification), and then import the next one.

    Worked for me…what did I do?
    1. Moved everything out of the zip file into a normal windows folder
    2. In WordPress I got to the import window and didn’t do darg and drop. I clicked in the middle of the drag/drop window and it took me to the normal windows file selector.
    3. My id in TravelPod is buckgw…so I had to open the folder called buckgw. Inside that I had to open a folder called XML-WordPress…and inside that are 12 files for my 12 blogs.
    4. I clicked on buckgw.trip.1 and away it went
    I suspect you’ve clicked on the wrong file
