Issues Launching Site

    I have just registered for a blog on wordpress with a free domain name (e.g. blank.wordpress.com) however when I go to launch my site it makes me search for a domain name again which only gives me domains that I have to pay for. How can I launch my site using the original free domain that I chose when I signed up?

    Hi there,

    On that domain search page you should see an option to Skip Purchase. Click that, and you’ll be able to select the free plan on the next step, keeping your site’s free address:
