Issues migrating to One.com

Need your help guys!
I have created a website in WordPress (free version) and wish to migrate it to One.com via their “1-click WordPress” feauture.
However, when I try to do so, I am met with a message saying: “Migration is not supported for wordpress.com websites because FTP is not supported by wordpress.com.” – leaving me unable to move forward.
One.com support is not able to help me on the matter so I am curious if any of you might know what the problem is?
PS: I am a novice in this whole website building, including its language for which much of the lingo used is gibberish to me :-)

Hello there,
You can export your content from the site hosted on WordPress.com and import the file in your self-hosted WordPress site on One.com.
