Issues switching themes

    I just switched between free themes today and noticed that older posts are not displaying photos at all or incorrectly while everything is fine on newer posts. What’s the issue?

    It looks like the older posts are using figure tags to wrap the images while the newer ones are not.

    Have you done anything else apart from switch themes? And were you using a different method of including your images in posts before?

    Not that I know of. The only thing I did today was change themes and I’ve always used the same method to include the photos.

    Hi @nixoncharlie, if you open some of those broken images in new tabs, you’ll see that the images themselves return a 404 error.

    It looks like someone went through and deleted several images from the media library, and these were being used in those older articles. That happened about 11 months ago.

    Are you able to re-upload those images and add them to the post?

    Also, please bear in mind, deleting an image from the library will also break the image in the post.
