Issues Updating 'Homepage Settings' – mobile

Hi all,
I’m doing a site for a client and I just created this new page to be used as the homepage. I tested it and mobile optimized it. Now when I go to Homepage Settings and select my new page, it looks great on desktop, but it looks absolutely ridiculous on mobile. Very odd because everything has been completely optimized already.
So I’m thinking there must be some settings somewhere affecting the mobile version of whatever page is set as Homepage?
Again, it looked fine as just a regular page.
The Theme I’m using is an older theme, it’s what the clients had when I began, it’s called High End.
Their current Homepage looks fine albeit poorly designed in general.
Thanks so much for any help, this is due asap and I’ve never seen this issue before.

Thanks for that! Your site is not hosted here at WordPress.com, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.
I recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see why your new homepage isn’t behaving like it should in mobile viewports. Since they created the theme, they’re the best ones to try and narrow down the problem.

In that case is it possible to delete the reference to my url? I don’t see an option to do so on my end as of now.
